ABOUT ME

MY STORY

I was born in the UK and came to Australia when I was 6yrs old with my family. So Australia is all I know and call my only home.

I finished high school worked at the local council as a records clerk then became a security officer for baggage collections as this is just a start I then went to do my registered nurses training and have been for nearly 40 years lol.  I did go to Tafe to complete a couple of Cert IV in IT Information Technology courses which I enjoyed but it was competitve getting a job so back to nursing.

In 2006 I came across an advertisement for a course in Celebrancy, I studied my first certificate in general celebrancy to be able to do baby namings and other non legal ceremonies. I then felt a need to become a funeral celebrant as being a nurse I have spent a lot of time consoling families on thier departed loved one's.

I then decided to do the marriage celebrant course as I loved weddings and happy occasions and I finished the marriage celebrant course in 2007 and became authorised in 2008 so here I am still enjoying my celebrant work.
